year 211 after conquest - 6 Chapters
1.
Cavarly from the Rock.
With the southern war intensifying, House Lannister readies a new host in the Westerlands, ready to march to battle.

In all other Kingdoms of the Realm, armies and navies are being prepared for war.

2.
Rogue Lords.
None have sat upon the Iron Throne for long since Daeron the Good and war has ravaged the Realm. As conflict continues across the Seven Kingdoms, many petty lords delay and sabotage their taxes, unafraid of the King's justice.
Minor Lords in the North and the Riverlands are particularly brazen, costing their liege Lords many resources in the process.

3.
The Invasion of the Arbor.
The dominion of House Redwyne, the Island paradise that is the Arbor, produces the only wine in Westeros that can compete with a Dornish red. In its great seat of Ryamsport, hundreds of vinyards lie stretched out before the grand castle and the sea, its ports full of traders from the Summer Sea.
As a large fleet approaches, the walls are manned. As the ships draw nearer, a lookout notices the Lannister flag atop a mast. The defense of the city is hasty, ill prepared.
It is soon after that word is sent to Lannisport and the Rock, the island has been taken for House Lannister. Lord Tyndar and Admiral Thomas await further instructions as they feast on the famous Arbor Gold.

4.
The Battle of Crakehall.
After their defeat at Highgarden, the weakened host of House Lannister retreated to Crakehall. Resting within the town to rejoin the freshy raised troops at Casterly Rock, Rhaela Velaryon oversees the recovery of her dimished force.
After a few weeks, scouts return with ill tidings. House Tyrell is on the march up the Oceanroad. The soldiers are not fully recovered yet, and this fresh force is headed for Crakehall. Lady Velaryons readies a line outside on the hilly terrain. As a fight to the last seems imminent, she prepares a charge.
The fighting lasts into dusk. The Tyrell troops decimate the weakened Lannister army. The retreating forces are caught in archer volleys and charging cavalry.
Khailee Flowers stands on the front lines with her men. She is rumored to have struck down a dozen knights. As the green banner of House Tyrell is finally lifted over the beleaguered town, the enemy general is nowhere to be found.
Miles away, Lady Rhaela Velaryon rides north for Lannisport, having abandoned the doomed battle. This second confrontation has not gone her way.

5.
The Sands of Dorne.
On the broken arm of Dorne, overlooking the Summer Sea and the Stepstones, lies Sunspear, the ancient seat of House Nymeros Martell. A giant palace complex stretches from the Shadow City at its base, over its grand walls, to the Sandship, its inner keep.
The lush coasts and unforgiving sands of Dorne have always invited envious men. Many times the Targaryens have taken the arm of Dorne in conquest. And many times the Targaryens have left the unbowed Kingdom, unable to hold its passion for long.
It is on the walls of Sunspear that Garon Baratheon stands beside Maron Martell, the aging Prince of Dorne. Lord Martell has upheld his vow to House Targaryen through the troubles of the Blackfyre rebellion, in respect to his wife, princes Daenerys Targaryen. He had brought his native land into the Seven Kingdoms, united their future with that of the Dragonlords.
Now, he was looking down his walls at a Westerosi army, at its head "The Falcon Knight" himself, Lord Artys Arryn. His scouts had informed him of the Fleet sailing past the Stepstones weeks ago. Of their landing in Salt Shore and their march to his city. His generals had prepared to harry this force with mounted archers, widdle it down to half its size by the time it reached Sunspear. Maron had refused. His engineers had offered to turn Sunspear into a fortress against the attacking force, letting them starve before the walls. Maron had refused. Lord Garon Baratheon asked why he wouldn't defend his territory and his people, only to be led away by the dutiful princess Daenerys.
"Many have come to Dorne, not many have remained. This conquerer has not harmed my people yet, neither by Salt Shore, nor here. Let him through, let us see what this bird wants."
So it was, that Lord Maron opened the gates of Sunspear, inviting Lord Artys into his palace and this large host into his walls. Sunspear would not weather a siege, neither would it be sacked afterwards. Lord Arryn's troops were to take their place along the fortifications and not shed a drop of dornish blood or take from the people as their prince would provide what they required.

6.
Born amidst Salt and Smoke.
The sea is gentle as the Greyjoy armada crosses the gullet. Aboard, Bittersteel and Haegon exchange nervous glances. The Tully army has not marched south. House Arryn has sailed to Dorne and House Lannister to the Arbor. Haegon lands alone. The Golden Company is ready for a battle, but so is House Baratheon.
They will do their duty, and by the end of the day, Haegon Blackfyre will sit on the Iron Throne.
As Lord Greyjoy lands host after host on all sides of the city, Bittersteel will lead a vanguard against the gates and overwhelm the defenders. Hopefully, they will draw out a Baratheon army and crush them on the field.

As the Blackfyre troops try to land, the Baratheons begin flinging pots of Wildfire at the
ships closest to the walls. The screams of sailors and soldiers are drowned out by the constant
roar of fire, both on the water and the walls, as Greyjoy projectiles hit the Wildfire caches,
igniting whole districts beneath the fortifications.
In a gruesome back and forth of Fire and Blood, the Baratheons manage to impede the landing of
the Blackfyre forces for long enough as a line forms outside the city. A Baratheon cavalry charge
was the straw that broke Daemon's back. So Lord Corwin Rogers sallies outwards, clashing with
the Blackfyre vanguard.
On both sides, the numbers swell, as Baratheon men join the battle outside and Blackfyre men
keep disembarking.
The clash lasts into dusk, with the Golden Company experiencing heavy losses. It is unknown if an archer fired a lucky arrow, or an infantryman struck a fortunate lance. But Haegon Blackfyre falls, Bittersteel sheltering his lifeless body. With that, the Blackfyre line breaks down. Lord Dagon Greyjoy begins retreating his men and remaining fleet. Bittersteel and the ancient Valyrian Steel Sword in tow, the small remains of the Greyjoy force retreat south, harried by Lord Corwin's cavalry.
Some manage to escape, most, like Haegon and Daemon before him, lay down their lives at the foot of King's Landing's walls, ending the Blackfyre dynasty.

Black smoke rises above the wreckage of the bay. Black smoke rises above the burnt quarter of the city. The crows descend upon the tens of thousands dead. It is said that the fields of the Crownlands are painted with fire and blood. Today, as the sun rises above the lucky survivors, the stench of war hangs heavy over the city.
A lonely ship sails in from Dragonstone. A lonely prince aboard. Rhaegel Targaryen, brother to the lost King Aerys and the prince of Summerhall, enters the capital, flanked by Ronnal Baratheon and his guards.
On the steps of Baelor's Sept, a good omen is announced. The city is saved and finally, their prince has returned. A funeral vigil is held for King Aerys within the fortnight, then a coronation for prince Rhaegel.
Many know of the unsure steps and darting eyes of the prince. Banished to Dragonstone for his madness, Rhaegel now carries forth the line of the Dragonlords. Beside him stand many Baratheon's, behind him, the banner of the Red Dragon is trimmed with gold.
Long live Rhaegel Targaryen, first of his name, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm.
As Rhaegel dons the conquerers crown for the first time, he speaks in a quiet stutter. He thanks Lord Ronnal by his side, for protecting the City, his House and his Realm, naming Lord Borys Baratheon, as the Hand of the King in absentia, as a token of his gratitude.
This great honor bestowed, King Rhaegel is ushered out of the great hall.
Letters soon arrive in all the Seven Kingdoms about the restoration of order and stabilty.
